Total Hours: 3 Cumulative Hours: 12 I cannot believe our first semester is over already! It has truly been a blessing to experience such a well put together learning experience over these past few months, and I am in disbelief with just how much I have been able to grow in my education in such a short amount of time. We ended things off with our module over GI and Neoplasia, where we learned the ins and outs of both Cancer treatments and GI issues. I wrapped up this semester's service hours by continuing lending a hand at Oschner in the General Surgery Unit by spreading some Christmas cheer along with my normal duties. As mentioned previously, volunteering hear is extremely important to me on a personal level, due to how much they have helped my family in the past. While this is something I always hold close to my heart, the Holiday season has really brought so much of it back to light.
